A few small gestures can make a meaningful difference. At Mascienda Guadalupe, we believe hospitality and responsibility can coexist beautifully.

We kindly ask you to read this guide carefully to ensure a smooth and harmonious stay for you—and for others.

Cancellation Policy

All reservations are non-refundable.

Tourist tax

€2 per person per night, up to 5 days

Early/Late check-in & check-out

Late arrivals and departures may be subject to an additional fee. Please speak with our team in advance whenever possible.

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM

  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM sharp

Late check-out (until 3:00 PM): €35 per person, subject to availability. Please request in advance.

  • Breakfast: 8:30 – 10:30 AM

  • Pool Club Menu 1:30 – 3:30 PM

  • Restaurant: 8:30 – 12:00 PM

Please reserve meals or experiences at least 24 hours in advance.

At check-out, guests are kindly requested to return both the room key card and the remote control. Please note that a replacement fee of €120 will apply if either item is lost or damaged.

Keys, access cards and remote controls

IMPORTANT:

We kindly ask all our guests to take special care of the keys, access cards and remote controls provided during their stay.

In the event of loss, misplacement or damage, a charge of €100 will apply for each key, access card or remote control.

Suite Etiquette

Toilet paper only: Avoid flushing wipes, paper towels or other items down the toilet.

Eating inside the suites is not permitted. Please help us protect this rural paradise. Food crumbs attract ants and wildlife.

Smoking is not allowed indoors; it is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Fees may apply

Cleaning & Linen

  • Full room service, towels, and linens are changed every 3 days

  • Daily towel change available upon request: €25/day

  • If your towels are still clean, please hang them up to reuse them. Towels left on the floor will be replaced and charged accordingly (€25)

Air Conditioning & Resources

As we are located in a remote area where water and electricity resources are limited, we kindly invite you to use the fan and/or open the windows whenever possible, and to help us conserve water during your stay.

  • Water is precious: please use water mindfully whenever possible.

  • Use natural ventilation: our thick stone walls naturally keep rooms cool. When comfortable, we encourage the use of ceiling fans instead of air conditioning

  • Air conditioning: keep doors and windows closed while in use, and please turn off the A/C when leaving your suite

  • A note on lighting: please switch off the lights when leaving your room. Small actions help us reduce energy consumption.

Children

  • Upon check-in, a parent, legal guardian, or accompanying adult family member must sign a liability waiver on behalf of any child staying at the hotel.

  • To ensure a safe and relaxing stay for the whole family, we recommend booking a room with a private mini pool, as children are not permitted in the main pool.

  • Children of all ages are accepted and supervised by their parents.

  • Additional charges apply for extra beds when staying in the room with parents.

Dogs

We love dogs and are happy to welcome them at Mascienda Guadalupe. However, out of respect for all guests:

  • Dogs are not permitted in the swimming pool or restaurant areas

  • Must be on leash at all times.‍

  • €30/day cleaning supplement applies.

Mérida Pool Club - etiquette

The pool club is available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

For the comfort of all our guests and the care of our pool, we kindly ask you to respect the following:

  • Please shower before entering the pool. Showers are available in the pool area.

  • After applying sunscreen, oils or body products, please shower before entering the water to help us maintain its quality.

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Only food and drinks prepared and served by our restaurant may be consumed in the designated tables and lounge areas.

  • No food or drinks are permitted inside the pool.

  • One pool towel per guest is provided. Only hotel pool towels may be used; outside towels or towels of other colors are not permitted.

  • Pool towels must remain in the pool area and may not be taken to the rooms, the beach or outside the pool area. Each guest is responsible for returning their towel after use.

  • The main pool is reserved exclusively for adults. Children and pets are not permitted in this area.

Restaurant guidelines

  • For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all our guests, all meals, including breakfast and dinner, are served and enjoyed inside the restaurant.

  • Plates, cutlery, glasses, food and beverages should remain within the restaurant. As we are surrounded by countryside, food served outdoors can attract wasps and other insects.

  • Dogs are not permitted inside the restaurant. Guests travelling with a dog are kindly asked to leave their pet comfortably in their room while dining and collect them afterwards. For this reason, meals cannot be served outdoors as an alternative.

Discretion & Respect

  • Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Please avoid loud noises or disturbances at all times

  • External visitors are not permitted without prior approval

Please close the gates

For the safety and privacy of all guests, kindly ensure gates are closed when entering or leaving the property.
